Advanced Emotional Intelligence
Decades of research now point to Emotional Intelligence (EI) as the critical factor that sets star performers apart from the rest of the pack. For example one meta-study published by the World Economic Forum found that 90% of top performers are also high in emotional intelligence. On the flip side, just 20% of bottom performers are high in emotional intelligence. You can be a top performer without emotional intelligence but the chances are slim. High emotional intelligence correlates with positive outcomes for leaders, teams and organisations. It's strongly tied with higher performance and earnings. EI enables improved decision making focus, teamwork, productivity and business networks; and reduces employee turnover, unhealthy conflict, and stress. In this programme you'l learn that EI can be developed, and how you can do this yourself. We use Daniel Goleman's model of Emotional Intelligence, which consists of 4 domains and 12 emotional and social competencies.
